The TECNA TE1700C is a high-performance handheld resistance welding analyser that measures weld current, electrode force, electrode voltage, energy, resistance and heating current with the appropriate probes. It has a 5.7-inch colour LCD touchscreen and displays live waveform graphs. The TE1700C supports AC, DC/MFDC and CDW machines; it measures weld time in cycles or in ms with 0.1 ms resolution, over a maximum measuring time of 6 seconds. It stores up to 30,000 measurements, shows details of the last 100, and manages 16 limit masks and up to 9 pulses. Ethernet, Wi-Fi and USB 2.0 support configuration, data viewing and waveform storage; newer versions also add automatic Excel file creation, a noise-reduction filter and automatic software updates.
