- BNC output for oscilloscope
The TECNA TE1600/RS232 is a handheld instrument for checking resistance welding process parameters. With the appropriate probes it measures weld current and electrode force, and a pressure probe can be connected for periodic checks of pressure gauge calibration. The TE1600/RS232 supports AC welders, three-phase rectifier and MFDC/DC machines, and capacitor discharge (CD) welders. It connects to a PC via an RS232 port with a DB9 serial cable and transfers data automatically after each measurement. A 32-bit processor, 12-bit A/D converter, blanking function, automatic sensor recognition, BNC output and a memory of the last 10 welds support testing and diagnosis of the welding process.
