The ATA SPT Line, comprising the SPT80R and SPT100R, uses a lubrication-free air turbine motor that minimises the risk of oil contaminating the machined surface. The slim turbine body and weight of just 0.15 kg allow precise handling and reduce operator fatigue.
Ceramic bearings support smooth running and extend spindle life, while the simple motor design reduces component wear. The tools use a standard 3 mm collet and suit 3 mm shank carbide burrs.
