The Tschorn 3D Tester DREHplus 001V2T020 was developed specifically for CNC lathes. Its patented conical probe can measure inserts with different radii or angles and find the turning centre directly. The operator probes until both dials read 0; the outer contour of the conical probe then lies on the axis of symmetry, giving X=0 and Y=0 without further calculation. It also measures along the Z axis.
